Valerie Babbitt, MA, TLLP
Therapist
Valerie has worked in the mental health industry since 2016. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a masters degree in Counseling Psychology. She has worked in a variety of mental health capacities including clinical, court-ordered, and private practice. Valerie has a history of working with clients on sexual addiction, school/college issues, and trauma history.
Her approach to therapy is to explore thought processes with clients and work together to evaluate the helpfulness of those beliefs. She has a unique approach in that she believes the best in others and helps clients to understand the root of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She specializes in working with parents who are emotionally healing in the face of raising a family.
Valerie is a Temporary Limited License Psychologist and is supervised by Dr. Daniel Ehnis, Ed.D. at the Forest Hills Counseling Center in Ada, MI.
